AMOS 17 (17° East)
The AMOS-17 satellite, launched on the 6th of August 2019, is to be located at 17° East. The satellite will offers services over Europe, the middle eastern and African regions.
This is a key orbital position for Africa. With both C-Band, Ku-Band and Ka-Band transponders and Wide Beam and many Spot Beam footprints, this satellite can offer a multitude of services, including but not limited to:
- VSAT Communications and Broadband Internet.
- Data Trunking.
- Direct-To-Home (DTH) TV broadcasting.
- Video Distribution.
