Belintersat 1 (51.5º East)

The Belintersat 1 Satellite, launched in January 2016, is located at the orbital position over Asia at 51.5° East. The satellite offers wide area pan-Africa coverage, featuring a high-power C-Band beam and several high-powered Ku-Band beams. The 20 C-Band and 18 Ku-Band transponders, with an excellent look angle, allows Belintersat-1 to offer a variety of satellite communication services, including:

  •     VSAT Communications and Broadband Internet
  •     Telephony services
  •     Data Trunking
  •     Cellular Backhaul
  •     Direct-To-Home (DTH) TV broadcasting
  •     Video Distribution
