BADR-4 / Arabsat 4B (26º East)

BADR 4 manufactured by Alcatel Alenia Space was launched on the 8th November 2006. With its 12 Ku Band transponders and additional 22 C Band transponders, it is in prime position at 26° East to provide a large range of services such as; television contribution and distribution, telephony, business communications, Internet trunking and provision of VSAT and other interactive services. This satellite covers sub-Saharan Africa, North-Africa and the Middle East.
