Following a significant and lengthy planning process, the past few weeks have seen the installation and commissioning of brand new, state-of-the-art Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) systems here at the Teleport.
Finally on Sunday, the change-over was made from our old UPS system to the new more reliable, resilient and fully redundant UPS infrastructure. This change-over was well-planned and professionally executed, with absolutely no impact on services.
This new system will allow us to facilitate the ongoing expansion of systems and services for the foreseeable future here at SMS.
