Our facilities
What makes our hosting and colocation services stand out is our focus on security and quality of service. Our hosting areas are monitored around the clock, 365 days a year by our experienced team. In addition, power and environment are fully monitored; this includes the Teleport generator systems, UPS systems, main grid power, temperature, humidity and smoke detection.
In particular, thanks to its bunker design structure, the facility has excellent temperature control due to a thick layer of insulation, providing exceptional protection from the elements.
Due to its military heritage, our Teleport has pre-existing security concepts built into its fundamental design and operation. Security features include a high 360° perimeter fence, CCTV coverage with advanced infrared and tracking systems, plus access control procedures.
Entry to the site is by appointment only and incoming deliveries require verification checks. This ensures a high level of site security at all times. For extra safety, additional perimeter checks are performed throughout the day.
Colocation and hosting
SMS offers antenna colocation, ground station hosting, satellite hosting, along with data centre services. Whatever the requirement, we can accommodate a wide range of antennas. Our dishes are located at ground level inside our secure facility, close to the data centre. The installation is easy, quick, and safe.
We can connect the dish to servers or to a rack in one of our data centres, or directly to the Internet. SMS can provide a complete turnkey solution, including antenna hosting and LEO, MEO, and GEO Gateway operations.
For your Teleport or satellite Gateway requirements, for any satellite orbit and constellation, Satellite Mediaport Services can provide antenna colocation and hosting services at our 24/7 secure Teleport facility. We can access the satellite arc between 65º East to 65º West at any antenna size and frequency band.
SMS Teleport can provide colocation services for your uplink, downlink, turnaround, disaster recovery or any other type of service. Our secure Teleport facility provides a variety of colocation locations, supporting data centre racks of up to 47 Rack Units. All of our hosting locations can support 2kW redundant and protected power for each rack.
